Roach recently won a $730 million jury verdict in a truck accident case involving a collision between a passenger car and an oversize-cargo truck hauling a propeller for a U.S. Navy nuclear submarine. The truck accident decision was named the fourth-largest jury verdict in the United States and third-largest in Texas that year.

At age 28, Roach was made lead counsel of the Lone Star Stel Toxic Tort Litigation, a case involving 5,000 steelworkers who sued 600 companies that supplied dangerous products to an East Texas steel mill. He went on to lead the Red River Army Depot Toxic Tort Litigation, representing 300 rubber workers with occupational cancers and lung diseases.

Roach went on to represent the inventor of the process banks use to electronically clear checks in a series of patent-infringement lawsuits against some of the largest and most powerful financial institutions in the nation. Roach and two other lawyers in his firm won a $54 million judgment against Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank, among other victories.

Roach also served lead counsel in a $119 million class action against Freeport-McMoRan, one of the largest mining companies in the world. The case resulted in the cleanup of hundreds of properties throughout Blackwell, Oklahoma, a community that had been contaminated with lead, arsenic, cadmium, and other toxic substances.
